This is a new and exciting role for the right person to lead on the coordination and delivery of appropriate support and interventions for students who need to develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills, to ensure more effective learning and facilitate strong academic progress. The successful candidate will help facilitate and manage positive behaviour within the school community by ensuring that the schools’ graduated response is used effectively in supporting high-tariff students and those with complex needs, particularly those with SEMH needs.

Teacher of French with Spanish

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of MFL able to teach both French and Spanish. The successful candidate will  be committed to contributing to the development of high quality provision for students within our faculty.

The Modern Languages team is a successful faculty currently offering French and German. We are now hoping to introduce Spanish into the curriculum from September 2022 to further diversify the range of languages on offer to our students. We have historically offered trips abroad in KS3 and KS4 to enhance the experience on offer and plans are underway to re-launch these for the new academic year. The faculty is well resourced, friendly, committed and strives constantly to develop and improve methods for enhancing student learning, enjoyment and achievement.

Students have 2 language lessons a week  in Years 7 – 9 and 3 lessons per week in Years 10 and 11. We have some of the best facilities in the area having fully re-built our school in 2018. This not only provides both staff and students with everything they can expect for modern teaching and learning, but also gives us exceptional environmental credentials.

Associate Assistant Headteacher for SEND

                    Teacher of PE (Female) 

We are looking for someone who has a real passion for Physical Education and their teaching and can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a range of skills and experiences that they can bring to our school to complement our current talented team of teachers. Our students require a teacher of PE who has the ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning for our students. 

The successful candidate will be join a highly ambitious and talented faculty. This vacancy is advertised as a female only role, this is due to a key part of the role being to monitor the girls’ changing rooms. Please specify clearly in your application your teaching experiences and accredited KS4/5 courses you have the ability to teach. Applications are welcome from both experienced and recently qualified teachers.

Students have 2 lessons a week of Physical Education in Years 7 - 11 and 3 additional lessons for students studying BTEC Sport.
