Support Staff

Careers Advisor

Grade 7 points 17 - 23 (actual salary: £17,028 - £19,287)

Part time – 30 hours per week (4 days)

Term time + 2 weeks (40 weeks)

 With effect from 1 September 2020

The True Learning Partnership are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and highly skilled careers advisor to provide impartial careers education, advice and guidance to students at schools within our Academy Trust. The successful candidate will have specialist knowledge, excellent organisational and communication skills and be dedicated to providing the highest level of support to all of our students as they look towards their futures. They will be a member of the Trust School Improvement Group working with other highly skilled colleagues to deliver the best results for all of the students in the Trust. This is a Trust wide position and will involve working with students at both Poynton High School and Glossopdale School, ensuring a consistently high level of careers provision is available to all our Secondary students. While there is some flexibility, we anticipate the successful candidate will be based at each school for two days each week. This is a term time plus 10 days position, with attendance at Parents Evenings, Careers Events and during the exam results period required as part of this role. We are also a growing Multi Academy Trust and in the future, this role may grow to include working at other Secondary Schools as they join our highly performing Trust.

Relief Cleaners

Grade 3 £9.18 per hour

 With effect from 1 September 2020

Glossopdale school is looking for relief cleaners to join our existing team.  Primarily this is to cover absence, but due to the current situation we are looking for reliefs to specifically work from 8.30am to 2.30pm daily until October half-term (potentially could be longer).
